Booking Terms

These terms cover what happens when you send a booking request or enquiry through this website. Questions: info@tripbento.com.

Shanghai.com.sg is operated by TRIPBENTO PTE. LTD., Singapore. “We” and “us” in these terms mean that company. Our team, guides and vehicles are based in Shanghai.

A request is not a confirmed booking

Submitting a form on this site sends us a request. Nothing is reserved until we reply and confirm it in writing, including the date, what is included and the price. Availability is not checked automatically, so a date shown in a form may already be taken.

Prices

The Bund Night Walk is sold per person at the price shown on its page, which we send by email on request.

Private tours are quoted individually, as one total for your party, from the route, the hours, the party size and the vehicle. There is no standard price list, so the price that applies is the one we quote you in writing. Unless a quote says otherwise, it excludes entrance tickets, meals and personal expenses.

Paying

No payment is taken on this website. We do not ask for card details in a form, and any message that does is not from us.

The Bund Night Walk. We reply to your request with a payment link and the exact meeting point. Your place is held once it is paid.

Private tours. A deposit of 30% of the quoted total confirms your date, and we send a payment link when you accept the quote. The balance is paid on the day, to your guide or by transfer beforehand, whichever suits you.

Changing or cancelling

More than 48 hours before the start time, you may cancel and we refund everything you have paid us, the deposit included. Moving to another date costs nothing, subject to availability, and your deposit moves with you.

Inside 48 hours, the deposit is retained. Anything you have paid beyond it is refunded. By that point the guide has held the day, and tickets we booked for you may not be refundable to us.

If we cancel — for weather, safety, or where a minimum group size is not met — you may take another date or a full refund, whichever you prefer. For the Bund Night Walk we will tell you at least 8 hours before the start time.

Refunds go back by the route they arrived, normally within 10 working days.

What we provide, and what we do not

We provide guiding, interpretation and private ground transport. We are not a licensed travel agency and we do not sell flights, accommodation or packaged tours. Anything of that kind you arrange yourself, and we are not responsible for it.

We carry public liability insurance for the tours we operate. It does not cover your belongings, your health or your travel arrangements. We recommend travel insurance for any trip.

Itineraries on this site

The day plans in the planner and on the itinerary pages are examples written in advance to help you plan. They are suggestions, not a booked schedule: opening hours, closures and travel times change, and the plan we deliver is agreed with you when the booking is confirmed.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own visas, travel documents, insurance and health requirements, and for arriving at the agreed meeting point on time.

If you are more than 30 minutes late to a private tour without telling us, the guide may have to shorten the day. Timed tickets and the guide’s finishing time do not move, and we cannot refund the hours lost. A message as soon as you know is usually enough for us to rearrange the route instead.

Limits

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate, but we do not guarantee that every detail — hours, ticket prices, transport times — is current. We are not responsible for third-party services you arrange yourself, such as flights, hotels or attraction tickets. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
